Check out our English Premier League week 4 predictions below!

    Leicester vs Liverpool

    Kick-off: Week 4, Saturday, 1 September

Leicester recovered from their opening day loss to Manchester United to beat Wolves and Southampton meaning they have now won 2 out of their opening 3 games. The Foxes will again be without their star striker Jamie Vardy who is still suspended following his red card against Wolves. That didn’t seem to trouble Claude Puel’s men in against Southampton or in midweek as they cruised past Hudderfield in the Carabao Cup.

Liverpool will be more rested, having had a week to prepare for the fixture since they did not need to play in the Carabao Cup at this stage. Will the extra 90 minutes be a problem for the Foxes? Or is it still early enough in the season for them to recover?

Jurgen Klopp’s men have sprinted out the blocks and have quickly occupied the summit of the Premier League with their heavy metal football. The free flowing Reds have managed 7 goals in their first 3 Premier League matches and are yet to concede a goal, which is bad news for a Vardy-less Leicester side.

We are tipping Liverpool to take all 3 points at the King Power Stadium.

    Correct score: 0-2 (odds 7.50 at bet365)

Bonus tip: We expect plenty of shots in this match which is why we are tipping over 8 corners in the match. (odds 1.50 at bet365)

    Crystal Palace vs Southampton

    Kick-off: Week 4, Saturday, 1 September

Crystal Palace’s great start to the new Premier League season has taken a terrible turn as they have now lost 2 matches on the trot. They struggled to come up with much only managing 3 shots on target. Their midweek win at the Liberty Stadium in the Carabao Cup will provide a good boost to the morale of Roy Hodgson’s men ahead of this potential 6 pointer.

Southampton have faired event worse than their hosts so far this season. They head into their clash at the Selhurst Park having managed to secure just 1 point out of a possible 9. We have tipped the Saints to be one of the teams facing the drop towards the end of the season and they are doing their best to make sure we are right it seems.

Mark Hughes’ side has looked devoid of ideas having failed to register a win in their first 3 matches but their midweek win away to Brighton may provide the spark they need to get their season off the ground.

With both teams looking far from their best we expect a tight encounter with Crystal Palace ultimately pipping the Saints to take all three points at Selhurst Park.

    Correct Score: 2-1 (odds 9.50 at bet365)

Bonus tip: With both teams tired from their midweek matches we expect a low scoring game with under 3.5 goals. (odds 1.25 at bet365)

    Everton vs Huddersfield

    Kick-off: Week 4, Saturday, 1 September

Everton’s season seems to be developing a start-stop theme as they drew for the second time in 3 matches against Bournemouth last week. The Toffees will be without their Brazilian signing Richarlison who was shown a straight red for violent conduct at the Vitality stadium. That marked the second time 3 matches that Everton have had a player sent off, they will need to keep their wits about them and control their discipline.

Marco Silva was left frustrated as his side squandered a two-goal lead in week 3 and will be hoping his team can hold their nerve in the closing stages of this must win fixture.

Huddersfield Town are another team we have tipped for the drop. They are still without a win after their first three outings of the season and head in to week 4 of the Premier League with a measly point.

We are tipping Everton to take all 3 points at Goodison Park.

    Correct Score: 2-0 (odds 7.00 at bet365)

    [maxbutton id=”4″ url=”http://bit.ly/mbwEPL” ]

    Brighton vs Fulham

    Kick-off: Week 4, Saturday, 1 September

Brighton’s only win of the season so far has come at the expense of Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United, who sit one spot below them. Their 1-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield is reflective of a brave performance. If they can put in the same performance we can see them walking away with the points as they host Fulham.

The Cottagers finally got their first win of the season last week as they managed to beat Burnley at Craven Cottage.

The novelty factor of Premier League football has worn off for Brighton and Chris Hughton’s side are trying to remain true to their values whilst Fulham are still trying to figure out life in the top flight. This 6-pointer will be a crucial match for both these sides as they’ll need to pick up all the points they can.

Both teams had preparations interrupted as they kicked of their Carabao Cup campaigns with Brighton being bested by Southampton, whilst Fulham beat Exeter 2-0.

We are tipping Fulham to snatch all three points at Falmer Stadium.

    Correct Score: 1-2 (odds 13.00 at bet365)

    [maxbutton id=”4″ url=”http://bit.ly/mbwEPL” ]

    Chelsea vs Bournemouth

    Kick-off: Week 4, Saturday, 1 September

Anyone who watched Chelsea’s horrific display against City in the Community Shield would have thought they would have a tough start to the season, but it’s been anything but. Chelsea has flown out of the blocks registering 3 wins in as many games giving Maurizio Sarri a 100% record in his Premier League career so far.

The Blues shave managed 8 goals whilst conceding just 3, 2 against Arsenal, a testament to their organization in all areas of the field. But the biggest story of their season has been the renaissance of Edin Hazard, a man who cut a lonely figure just a few months ago under Antonio Conte’s regime. He has been a man on a mission delivering top drawer performances under new boss Sarri and we expect to see more of the same.

Bournemouth have had a solid start to their season, managing 2 wins in 3 attempts. Last week they managed to recover from 2 goals down to draw 2-2 with Everton. The Cherries will be without Adam Smith for this match after he received his marching orders having brought down Theo Walcott against Everton last week.

We are tipping Chelsea to snatch the 3 points with ease.

    Correct score: 3-0 (odds 9.50 at bet365)

    West Ham vs Wolves

    Kick-off: Week 4, Saturday, 1 September

The Hammers are the only side in the Premier League still without a win this season. Despite managing to win away to Wimbledon on Tuesday in the Carabao Cup morale will remain low for the London side. Their preparations for this fixture have been overshadowed by the doubt surrounding Marko Anautovic’s fitness for the match. The powerful Austrian centre forward was forced to come off the pitch with an injury against Arsenal and didn’t even make the bench against Wimbledon. He has been the scorer of the Hammers’ only 2 goals so far this season and Manuel Pellegrini will be sweating on his fitness right up until kick-off.

Wolves have had a tepid start to the season, managing 2 draws in 3 matches. That may not sound like much but when you consider that the first draw saw them recover twice to beat Everton and the second one saw them hold reigning champions Manchester City at the Molineux it starts to sound a little more decent. Nuno Espirito Santo has been confident of his sides chances in this season’s Premier League and has called on his men to remain honest and keep putting the work in.

We fancy Wolves to take the points at London Stadium.

    Correct score: 0-2 (odds 17.00 at bet365)

    Manchester City vs Newcastle

English Premier League Week 4 Predictions

    Kick-off: Week 4, Saturday, 1 September

Manchester City where given a hard taste of reality as they were held to a 1 all draw by Wolves at the Molineux last week. Pep Guardiola’s men would have not lost much sleep over the result as its early days in the Premier League and they have plenty of time to recover from that stumble. This week they host Newcastle this week, a side they have enjoyed playing over the last couple of years, having lost just once to the Magpies in their last 15 encounters. The continued absence of Kevin de Bruyne will worry City fans but should not have an impact on this fixture.

Despite their potential Newcastle has not gotten off to a great start this season. Having managed to register just 1 point so far this season they have already fallen behind the leading pack. We expect them to finish around mid-table this season but they will need to recover form quickly if they are to manage that.

We are tipping City to grab all 3 points at the Etihad without breaking a sweat.

    Correct score: 4-0 (odds 8.50 at bet365)

Bonus tip: Over 3.5 goals (odds 1.83 at bet365)

    [maxbutton id=”4″ url=”http://bit.ly/mbwEPL” ]

    Cardiff City vs Arsenal

    Kick-off: Week 4, Sunday, 2 September

Cardiff City have found life in the Premier League rather unforgiving so far. They have failed to register a single goal in their first three matches managing just 6 shots on target in 270 minutes of play. Their first three games have shown them to be well out of their depth in the top flight of English football. Despite their lackluster start they find themselves outside the relegation zone. This is only temporary. Expect Cardiff to return to the Championship sooner rather than later.

Arsenal may have finally turned a corner this season, managing to earn their first points of the campaign with a win in last week’s London derby against West Ham. That win will have gone some way towards easing the pressure on manager Unai Emery but he knows he is not out of the woods yet. For the Gunner’s Champions League football is the target, but from what we have seen so far, they may fall short of that target. With the players’ at Emery’s disposal the fans have a right to be disappointed, and he will know anything short of a win this weekend will continue to rack up the pressure on him.

We are tipping Arsenal to smash this and take all 3 points at Cardiff City stadium.

    Correct score: 1-3 (odds 13.00 at bet365)

    [maxbutton id=”4″ url=”http://bit.ly/mbwEPL” ]

    Watford vs Tottenham

    Kick-off: Week 4, Sunday, 2 September

It’s a case of who will blink first as Watford host Spurs at Vicarage Road. With both teams heading in to this fixture with a perfect record it may turn out to be a cagey affair.

Javi Garcia will once again look to Roberto Pereyra to inspire his team from the centre of the park. The Argentinian midfielder has been in excellent form so far this season grabbing three goals in as many appearances.

Spurs dismantled Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United at Old Trafford, bashing in three goals without response. Mauricio Pocchetino will expect more of the same as his team visit the Vic.

Which team will manage to maintain their perfect start?

We are tipping Spurs to come away with all the points at Vicarage Road.

    Correct score: 2-3 (odds 26 at bet365)

Bonus tip: over 3.5 goals (odds 2.75 at bet365)

    Burnley vs Manchester United

    Kick-off: Week 4, Sunday, 2 September

European Football has proved to be a poison apple for Burnley. Their Premier League form has been the cost of their participation in the Europa league. Since their opening day draw with Southampton they have not managed to win any further points.

Sean Dyche must be scratching his head in frustration as he tried to turn the season around for Burnley. Thursday’s encounter with Olympiacos will do little to help their preparations for Sunday’s clash with the Red Devils.

Manchester United have been out of sorts so far this season managing just 1 win from 3 attempts. For them to be playing catch up so early on in the season is very uncharacteristic and the pressure is building on Jose Mourinho who has come under fire both for his off the field antics as well as his on the field antics.

This match will represent a must win for the Portuguese and we are sure he will let his players know that. Similarly, the fans, who over the years have become used to challenging for every honours, are beginning to lose patience with all the excuses.

Which team will manage to turn around their fortunes?

We are tipping Manchester United to take all 3 points at Turf Moor.

    Correct score: 1-3 (odds 17.00 at bet365)

Bonus tip: Over 9 corners (odds 1.66 at bet365)
